SAAQ REMOTE VIRTUAL SERVICE POINT
The Muncipality of Blanc-Sablon is proud to be working with the SAAQ in a new remote service point approach to be able to provide accessable and adaptable services to our region from Blanc-Sablon to Kegaska.
This service is available by appointment, every Tuesday morning from 9:30 am to 12 noon. The Blanc-Sablon municipal team will greet users, confirm their identity, transfer required documents, and provide the place to help connect virtually with a license and registration agent of the SAAQ.

Please note some services NOT available:
- No written or practical driving tests
- No taking of pictures
- No transfers of licenses from out of province
- No issuing of territorial licenses
Services that can be done by this virtual point are as follows:
- License renewal
- Replacing a lost, stolen, damaged or non-recieved license
- Cancelling a license
- Removing class 6A, 6B, 6C, or 6E from a driver`s license
- Checking if a license is valid
- Cancel, issue, replace and renew and authorized driver`s license
- Purchasing a vechile and trailer
- Requesting a replacement of a personalized plate
- Replacing a plate
- Cancelling a registration
- Issuing a winter tire exemption
- Issuing a temporary registration
- Store, remove from storage, or scrap a vechile
- Reissue a registration
